Web3 Security Operations Engineer, Zurich or Lausanne

Sygnum’s diverse and talented team of banking, investment and DLT experts is shaping the development of a trusted digital asset ecosystem.

You will work on both external and internal facing applications and play a key role in taking Sygnum’s tokenization products to the next level. You’ll be joining an amazing team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact both the front- end and back- end architecture, and ultimately, deliver amazing global and safe user experiences.

Tasks

• Assist with implementation and design for cloud and hybrid solution architectures.
• Investigate and resolve security violations by providing postmortem analysis to illuminate the issue, and identify causes, possible solutions, and preventative measures.
• Manage and execute projects to support the deployment, integration and maintenance of security solutions including but not limited to firewalls, EDR, SIEM, corporate proxies and access management.
• Manage and support Vulnerability and Patch management processes for Sygnum IT infrastructure.
• Review and improve security controls, configurations and hardening state of Sygnum IT assets and cloud services, as well as maintaining Sygnum I.T asset inventory.
• Support Site Reliability Engineering and IT infrastructure to implement security best-practices to maintain a security operating environment.
• Identify, define and update remediation procedures for security incidents.
• Work hands-on with detection systems, service teams and vulnerability analysis tools to respond to potential threats.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Cloud technologies including practical experience with Azure. AWS is also desired.
• Knowledge of ne.twork based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methodsows Active Directory environments.
• Knowledge of network based, system level, and application layer attacks and mitigation methods.
• Working knowledge of industry standard authentication mechanisms such as OpenID Connect, SAML, OAuth2, etc.
• Right candidate is prepared to relentlessly resolve security issues by gathering and analyzing event information and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of Information Security concepts, principles and network architecture, as well as design principles.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python / Powershell.
