It helped launch Worldcoin and continues to provide support to the Foundation, in addition to operating the World App.This opportunity will be with Tools for Humanity onsite in our San Francisco or Munich office About the Opportunity: This is a unique opportunity to co-architect a highly-functioning legal function at a high-profile project sitting at the interaction of several emerging fields. Working directly with the Chief Legal Officer, you will be instrumental in defining and executing our approach to the full range of product, IP and marketing legal considerations. What you’ll do:
Drive development and execution of the company’s strategies to address new and evolving global privacy requirements. Lead on drafting new and updated privacy policies across the full range of Meta’s products. Respond to and manage privacy related regulatory investigations. Oversee the privacy policy safeguard life cycle end-to-end. Maintain subject matter expertise in new and evolving areas of global privacy law and regulatory pressures. Develop resources and tools that enable counsel across the company to provide durable and consistent advice on privacy issues. Drive high-profile and high-impact projects involving privacy analysis with cross-functional stakeholders across the project’s business, policy, legal, communications, security, and other departments. Be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude. Be willing and able to roll up your sleeves and jump right in to support the team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Deep experience in privacy, security and AI laws. Strong understanding of GDPR, LGPD, APAC privacy laws, and other globalprivacy laws. Experience supporting privacy programs. First hand experience of privacy regulatory investigations, incident response management, breach reporting, and the practical realities of managing a global privacy program. Someone who’s excited about and comfortable with mastering new areas of law and tech, in particular cryptocurrencies. Excellent legal and business judgment and strategic thinking to ensure appropriate prioritization. Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the company on complex, multifaceted issues. Detail-oriented, business-friendly, and a team player, with an ability to thinkcreatively and accommodate tight deadlines. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent academic credentials. A sense of humor
Minimum qualifications:
J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar 8+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house or government experience Experience with global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, especially including those relevant for social media, internet and technology companies Experience advising on privacy legal risks and mitigations Experience handling privacy regulatory responses. Experience working on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment Proven problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills Proven business judgment and client counseling experience Experience making decisions in the face of ambiguity and evolving priorities Fluent in English.
Preferred qualifications:
In-house counsel experience with a multinational corporation, preferably in the technology sector. Experience in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency a plus. Ability to speak German (and other languages) a plus.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH in San Francisco ranges from $180,000 - $205,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
