The Crypto Data Science team's mission is to enable data driven product development and business strategy to maximize impact. The Crypto team is a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative team. As a member of this cross-functional group, you will collaborate closely with partners in product, engineering, user research, design, marketing, finance and compliance to unlock the potential of our data and shape the future of the Crypto Products.

As a senior product data scientist, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing the productâs performance by harnessing data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and innovations.

What youâll do
- Initiate and execute large analysis projects to deepen understanding of customers, uncover product improvement opportunities, provide actionable recommendations, and drive impact for our business
- Design, plan, execute and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes
- Define metrics system to measure product performance
- Create data visualizations and reports, synthesize data insights to compelling stories, to effectively communicate them to cross-function partners, stakeholders, and senior executives
- Iteratively improve the metrics and the dashboard system
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines with outstanding craftsmanship
- Mentor others as needed to uplift the teamâs capacity, and to democratize data knowledge and data insights within the company
- Leverage expertise in data science and passion for product development to shape the product and business strategy for Crypto at Robinhood
- Work with Senior executives and Product leaders and drive meaningful discussions keeping in center data driven insights
What you bring
- Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, etc
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience working in product analytics or data science
- Track record of initiating, and executing large / complex deep dive projects
- Track record of developing data insights that generates business impact
- Expert level SQL, Python skills
- Excellent data visualization skills and data storytelling skills
- Experience in product data science in a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced high tech environment
- Solid understanding of statistics
- Practical experience in AB testing and causal inference
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhoodâs equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
