THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is the lending engine for the metaverse. Their marketplace enables Players, Investors, and Guilds to borrow & lend gaming NFTs from one platform on any blockchain game, breaking down barriers to access web3 gaming and putting NFTs back in the hands of the players

You’re a highly driven, curious, pragmatic engineer comfortable building complex systems in a high-stakes environment. You design future-proof APIs and have a track record of making the right tradeoffs to ship quality products with a high velocity. While you can competently find your way through most problems, you seek to leverage the expertise of teammates wherever possible, fostering a culture where the whole is greater than the parts.

What is the role like?

You’ll be joining a seed-stage startup as a key engineer building across the stack. Your main focus will be on APIs, data infrastructure, and interacting with on-chain smart contracts. Code you write will facilitate massive flows of value, as as such has an extremely high bar for security and performance. You’ll work closely with the CTO on key technical decisions, and help shape the company’s engineering culture. Being an early-stage company, you have the ability to shape what the future of this role becomes.
