Senior Product Designer, Crypto specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer for our crypto design projects to join us as part of the Product Team. As a senior designer, you should be a problem solver who crafts practical and beautiful user experiences and has an understanding of the cryptocurrency industry. You will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring your more junior colleagues. Together with the team, you’ll help break down business and customer problems, imagine new and elegant solutions, and help bring great experiences to life.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to our most valuable crypto projects by making product improvements, as well as working on new products and features from scratch
• Explore and communicate design concepts through sketches, user flows, low fidelity wireframes and prototypes
• Participate in design research, user research and validation testing
• Lead 1-3 designer(s) on projects as necessary
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the designs fit the business goals and technical constraints as well as user needs
• Work closely with engineers to bring designs to life
• Create robust and scalable design systems
• Advocate for best practices across the product design team and mentor less experienced designers
• Contribute to improving the end to end product delivery process, as well as our internal processes

What You Need To Suceed

• General understanding of cryptocurrency industry, crypto exchange and wallets user flows, use cases for fungible and non-fungible tokens
• High level understanding of staking industry and DeFi ecosystem
• Ability to understand complex business logic and transform it in pleasant user experience while being constrained by underlying protocol limitations
• A deep knowledge of mobile and web app design patterns and UX best practices.
• An appreciation of the entire product development process - from idea generation and research to detailed UI/UX design
• Simplify complex problems down to simple and elegant solutions
• Comfortable leading Jr and Mid level designers on projects
• Ability to make decisions and take ownership of your work
• Strong verbal and written English skills and are able to communicate your thoughts and ideas effectively to the team and international stakeholders
• Experience in the design user testing process (preparing testing artifacts, reviewing feedback, etc)
• Bonus skills: deep business and user experience understanding and high level technical sense of any of the following:
  • Non-custodial wallets and platforms
  • Hardware wallets
  • DeFi - NFTs and marketplaces
  • Non-custodial staking on PoS blockchains
  • Tokenomics and creation and management of utility token economics
