Web3 Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Compensation: $27k - $45k estimated

In particular, we are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test who is used to working on large production codebases and possess a relentless drive for getting it right the first time. We have fun while we work, and always appreciate people who can maintain a sense of humor under any situation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own automated and manual tests for new and existing features utilizing GIT, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for code and test management and bug tracking; C#, PowerShell to implement code test automation; ASP.Net, RESTful APIs, Selenium, Specflow, MSTest and NUnit to manage testing, and SQL Server and SQL Azure to carry out database performance, security and load testing.
  • Utilize Object Oriented Programming (C#), Design Concepts (Abstract Classes, Encapsulation, Polymorphism, Interfaces and Inheritance) and Design Patterns (Composition, Façade, Factory, State, Observer, Dependency Inversion), to design, develop and maintain enterprise-level test automation frameworks and supporting tools.
  • Configure and maintain test environments and CI/CD pipelines (continuous integration and deployment) and pipeline automation using Azure DevOps, XML, JSON and PowerShell; use Azure DevOps to maintain the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Validate APIs using automated and manual testing by leveraging Behavior-Driven Development and Testing using Cucumber, Specflow, Jasmine and Postman.
  • Design, present and revise systems architecture diagrams to reflect background workflows and system specifications in order to properly communicate test strategies and plans.
  • Position may include additional duties that use the required skills.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Applications or closely related field and
  • Significant testing experience as a software engineer or QA engineer or similar positions.
  • Experience developing automated and manual tests for new and existing features utilizing Git, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for code and test management and bug tracking; C#, PowerShell to implement code test automation, and ASP.Net, RESTful APIs, Selenium, Specflow, MSTest and NUnit to manage the testing, and SQL Server and SQL Azure to carry out database performance, security and load testing.
  • Experience utilizing Object Oriented Programming (C#), Design Concepts (Abstract Classes, Encapsulation, Polymorphism, Interfaces and Inheritance) and Design Patterns (Composition, Façade, Factory, State, Observer, Dependency Inversion), to design, develop and maintain enterprise-level test automation frameworks and supporting tools.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining test environments and CI/CD pipelines (continuous integration and deployment) and pipeline automation using Azure DevOps, XML, JSON and PowerShell; including two years of experience using Azure DevOps to maintain the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience validating APIs using automated and manual testing by leveraging Behavior-Driven Development and Testing using Cucumber, Specflow, Jasmine and Postman.
  • Experience creating, reviewing and updating technical and design documents using Visio.
  • Available to telecommute from undetermined location(s).
