Web3 Sr. Frontend Product Engineer (DeAI)

Autonomys is an early-stage, venture-backed startup pioneering a new category at the intersection of AI and Web3. With our upcoming mainnet launch this year, the Autonomys Network is a radically decentralized, next-generation layer one blockchain powered by an innovative proof-of-archival storage (PoAS) consensus mechanism. Our project serves as a foundation for global collaboration between humans and AI, ushering in a new era of possibilities. In this role, you will...

• Build user flows across both web and backend (React and Node).
• Integrate directly with other blockchain networks using native RPCs.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to define, prioritize, and build features for Web3 users.
• Drive detailed project definition and cross-functional alignment.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building open-source code that is clean, maintainable, and well-tested, for production networks at scale.
• 2 + years of experience working with Typescript and Node.js.
• 2+ years of experience of experience with Ethers/Web3.js or Polkadot.js.
• 2+ years of experience working with React.js.
• A passion for decentralized, peer-to-peer systems and Web3 technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Substrate and the Polkadot ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind CSS and other modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with SubQuery data indexing and querying framework.
• Experience building developer SDKs and internal tools.
• Experience developing AI tools, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, and custom chatbots.
• Experience integrating smart contracts with frontend.
• Theoretical knowledge of blockchains and distributed systems.
