Web3 Trading Operation Analyst

Presto Labs (https://www.prestolabs.io/) is a fast-growing quantitative trading firm established in 2014. We develop automated trading strategies and the related systems to trade traditional financial products as well as cryptocurrency assets. Presto Labs focuses on statistical analysis and the automation of investment decisions to minimize human bias in fast-changing financial world.

As a Trading Operation Analyst at our company, you will be instrumental in supporting risk management and accounting functions and back office workflows essential to our trading operations. You will take on responsibilities that include trade clearance, settlement, and reconciliation, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to mitigate risk and uphold accuracy in our trading processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation of quantitative models for risk analysis and assist in trade/position/PnL accounting.
• Collaborate closely with trading teams, back-office back-end software engineers, and senior management to understand requirements and implement efficient and scalable solutions. 
• Engage in the development and maintenance of software systems to automate and enhance operational workflows.
• Take on data analysis challenges, offering insights for process improvements within the Middle Office framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or other equivalent practical experience. 
• Strong proficiency in Python. 
• Experience in Linux/Unix environments. 
• Solid project management capabilities, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects concurrently. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively with trading teams, backend software engineers, and senior management. 
• No previous finance experience required, but a keen interest in the financial sector is a plus.
