What You'll Do:

• Manage the day-to-day revenue accounting activities such as revenue system data validation and reconciliation
• Perform month end close activities including review of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, flux analysis and revenue disclosures
• Assist in the design and documentation of key controls and business processes in support of revenue system to effectively mitigate financial statement risks
• Work cross-functionally with Order Management, Billing, and IT on system enhancements and process changes to shorten the accounting close cycle while still maintaining high degree of accounting accuracy
• Lead special projects or initiatives as needed
• Provide training to internal and external stakeholders as needed

Who You Are:

• BS / BA in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a similar major
• 5-10+ years of revenue accounting and related experience under US GAAP, preferably in the Technology industry
• Experience with BI tools and SQL is a huge plus
• Detailed knowledge of ASC 606 and related revenue pronouncements
• CPA license and Big4 accounting experience preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel; experience with SFDC, Quickbooks Online or other ERP systems, and revenue accounting systems (e.g., Chargebee, Maxio, Subskribe)
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
• Must have the confidence to lead, the ability to exercise good judgment across all levels of management
• Creative mind to solve big-picture problems and a strong understanding of how to scale up Order-to-Cash operations (tech stack, policies, procedures, controls)
• Service-oriented attitude characterized by strong listening skills and the desire to achieve shared success
• Agile self-starter with the ability to move quickly and desire to own and be accountable for projects from Day 1
• Experience working with startups
• Passion for blockchain technologies and Web3
• A hustler mentality, founding a company or building side projects is a plus
