We’re looking for an Internal Controls and Testing Manager to join the Global Regulatory Reporting team, whose mission is to carry out internal testing reviews and prepare summary reports for all processes and procedures in the Compliance department at Crypto.com.

 

The ideal candidate would be a Self Starter who takes ownership and gets things done with resources available; a Clear Communicator who communicates effectively with people at all levels both inside and outside the Company and should have strong written and verbal communication skills; and a Natural Collaborator willing to work with multiple stakeholders and across multiple time zones.

 

The ideal candidate must stand out with excellent decision-making skills and effective problem-solving skills. The Internal Controls and Testing Manager must be able to navigate through a complex, fast-paced and constantly changing environment, and can grasp complex and terminology-abundant documentation. They should exhibit a strong passion for financial innovation and be excited about supporting Crypto.com’s mission to put “cryptocurrency in every wallet”.

Job Responsibilies:

• Review and test operational compliance against the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, and the internal rules, policies, and procedures of the Company;
• Prepare reports and deliver feedback on review progress, outcomes, risks, and findings;
• Issue recommendations for improvement of identified weaknesses and documentation gaps;
• Design, review, and update the Compliance controls library, test procedures, and controls scoring model;
• Assist the Compliance Management in identifying issues in the Company’s compliance operations activities;
• Review and observe processes to ensure the internal controls are effectively operated;
• Determines whether the compliance operations of the Company are effective and efficient;
• Onboard, oversee, and direct the work of direct reports or other junior members of the team;
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Should have working knowledge of the applicable AML/CTF recommendations, standards, and procedures;
• Understanding of the first-line operations processes – KYC, EDD, Investigations;
• Knowledge of basic audit practices;
• English language C1 proficiency;
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written;
• Highly organized and detail-oriented;
• Computer literacy;
• At least five years of professional experience in a similar role;
• Expert understanding of cryptocurrencies or a strong interest in learning;
• University degree.
