What we’re looking for

We are looking for an exceptional writer with a command for storytelling in a science fiction environment. You must be able to create experiences that delight and deeply engage audiences in the Metaverse.

To be an ideal candidate you should be a humble and skillful collaborator who thrives on working with colleagues from a variety of executive and marketing disciplines. You must be able to handle feedback and input under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality in storytelling.

What You Will Do

• Create, develop and polish the narrative experience with an emphasis on a strong, captivating story.
• Contribute to all areas of narrative building with a focus on creating memorable and emotional moments for NFT collectors.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to guide story improvements and to ensure narrative goals are being met.
• Review and add input from the marketing team and Energi executives: including (but not limited to): crafting headlines, blurbs, and peripheral text for various avenues of dissemination

Essential Requirements

• Shipped at least one successful AAA title from start to finish as a Lead Writer or Narrative Design Lead.
• Desired: Experience in procedural narrative or interactive fiction.
• Desired: Experience with high profile and beloved IP.
• Deep understanding of modern AAA games and their narrative mechanics.
• Outstanding writing skills especially with procedural, emergent, and immersive narrative, including a demonstrated ability to create endearing, iconic, and authentic characters who customers love (or love to hate) through developing storylines.
• Experience in the gaming, manga, comics, or science fiction industries is welcomed.
• Self-driven with the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision
• Fluent English communicator
• Passionate and up-to-date on the rapidly changing world of blockchain technology
• Values aligned with the Energi culture and values
