As a Quantitative Analyst at Kronos, you can combine risk management, research, and technology disciplines to operate trading strategies across cryptocurrency markets. You will work closely with our world-class quantitative researchers, software engineers, and Alpha researchers to maximize and optimize trading opportunities globally. We have a flat organizational structure that is highly merit-based where top performers are rewarded accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Optimize model configurations based on market conditions
- Utilize and improve existing trading tools to meet trading project requirements
- Monitor risk exposure, PnL, and system status of hundreds of trading processes
- Explore and exploit new arbitrage opportunities
- Generate constructive feedback on trading system performance by examining system logs and market data for executions
- Analyze potential trading misbehavior and provide solution
- Cowork with researcher to improve trading strategies
- Communication and coordination across teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, Sciences (or any quantitative-related major)
- Passionate about trading and capable of doing fast reactions toward the volatile market conditions
- Ability to understand and reason about complex trading systems
- Basic Python programming
- Strong work ethic and willingness to deal with trading abnormal incidents even in off-duty hours (since crypto markets operate 24/7 continuously)
- Detail-oriented person with strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Must be motivated, dependable, and responsible
- Ability to use sound judgment under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Basic SQL and/or scripting knowledge in a Linux environment is a plus
- Previous trading experience or financial market concepts is a plus
