This is an opportunity to make your mark! The Senior Product Designer will be directly responsible for the user experience and its impact on iterations of the Optimism ecosystem.
What are the role responsibilities?
- Design and ship high-quality improvements to our products
- Participate in user research to understand the problem space and inform solutions
- Partner with product and engineering to define strategy and execute on the roadmap
- Build wireframes, sketches, prototypes, concepts, and/or code to explore solutions for everything from broad problems to tactical deliverables
- Engage in regular design reviews to seek out feedback, improve the product, and hone your craft
What skills do you bring?
- Excellent at simplifying complex problems into elegant solutions
- Experience as a Product Designer shipping consumer-facing experiences users love
- Experience in a collaborative environment working with engineering and product teams
- Familiarity with the crypto space. You may not have worked in crypto before, but you should be comfortable with tools, terms, and concepts
- Curiosity and growth mindset. You love learning new things, whether they’re nuanced perspectives from our users, new financial primitives, or new skills
- Interest in the technical and social vision of blockchain technology
