Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Designer to join our IMVU team to continue growing the next generation of social metaverse experiences. As a Product Designer II, you will be responsible for identifying problems, creating solutions, and scaling designs in sustainable ways. This role is primarily focused on supporting our social and UGC product initiatives while also contributing to our design library, but does not mean there are more avenues to contribute, learn, and grow from!This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience on owning features, driving design direction, and receiving(or offering) mentorship along the way! There are even opportunities to learn in parallel in other disciplines from motion, coding, graphic design, branding, and so on. Responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams throughout the product development process to meet and deliver on goals
• Provide and solicit feedback from the team to form create solutions
• Workshop with design peers to achieve innovative ideas and solve problems
• Contribute to planning, prioritization, and overall strategy with teams
• Conduct generative research and support in user testing
• Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to guide design direction and communication
• Independently contribute to presenting progress, ideas, and sharing with team members to form alignment
  

Requirements

• 1-2+ years experience conducting end to end design for software and/or web applications at a product/feature level
• Bachelor's/Education in a UX/Design related field
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, XD, etc
• Experience working in an agile format and maintaining own task management
• Ability to communicate design reasoning and process when working with others
• Capability of linking product and user goals to several design solutions
• Strong understanding of UI practices on desktop and mobile applications
• General knowledge or experience on working with {related industry/tech}
  

Extra Points

• Experience and/or knowledge with related tech (HTML/CC/JS/C++/C#)
• Experience with Motion Graphics/Animations
• Hands on experience with social, gaming, metaverse, and/or blockchain related products
• Experience working with and supporting design systems

The base salary range for this position based in the San Francisco Bay Area is $88,000 - $125,000 annually. Total compensation will be determined based on several factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, competencies, and location. At Together Labs, base pay is part of a larger design. We intentionally invest in 6 elements: base pay, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, retirement, health, and wellness.

Compensation: From $88,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
