Job summary The AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) team is in need of engineers who want to change the way developers across the world think of TLS/SSL certificates. ACM is used by hundreds of thousands of customers across AWS. You will work with AWS customers and internal developers on projects critical to the security of communications and identity on the internet. You will get the opportunity to change the way systems interact with certificates, turning a traditionally painful interaction to a painless and automated experience. With your help, we will turn certificate expiration and unencrypted connections into a thing of the past.

Key job responsibilities Sr Software Engineers are leaders on the team and partners with the frontline manager. They set the technical direction of the team, work with product managers to understand how their choices align with immediate needs and the future direction of the business. They mentor junior engineers and work with their manager to ensure that we are not just building products, but also building the team. They influence the roadmap to ensure that operational, security, testing are all at the highest standards. Sr Software Engineers develop relationships with partner teams and work together with peers outside their team to align the technical vision, interfaces, and ownership.
