Blockchain Engineer / Architect

Our stablecoin model is unique in the industry because it is tied 1:1 with fiat currency, multi-chain and multi-currency.

THE ROLE: BLOCKCHAIN ENGINEER / ARCHITECT

The network of participants which Centre organizes and presides over includes many product-oriented commercial companies, infrastructure providers, and blockchains all lobbying for their own incentives in various forms of co-development, fully open-source development, and/or open standards development. The engineer/architect role is a dynamic and crucial hands-on role reporting to the CTO that pioneers, documents, and owns expertise on the bleeding-edge cross-chain development environment that Centre, its membership, and its partners is building. In the short term, this is a highly project-based and ad hoc role, but it will grow into process of abstracting and documenting the results of these projects into various internal, partner-, and external knowledgebases as stable venues for these collaborations develop over the first year of this position.

What you’ll be doing:

• Research, Architect, and/or implement smart contract and cross-chain protocols on various independent projects
• Develop POCs and pilot projects to evaluate applicability, performance, and scalability
• Document and generalize the above research and prototypes to form a comparative framework for smart-contract and asset-design across blockchain ecosystems
• Drive standardization and code governance in crypto protocols
• Participate as a technical liaison between clients, engineering teams and offering leadership as needed on collaborative projects
• Leading discovery for use cases that can further Centre’s and its partners’ understanding of blockchain and specific blockchain implementations

What we look for in you:

• 5 years experience in decentralized architectures and development
• Strong experience and passion for blockchain, crypto, distributed systems and/or DeFi
• 3+ year experience with Solidity and other smart contract development frameworks
