Radix DLT is hiring a
Web3 Crypto Integrations Engineer

Compensation: $85k - $87k *

Location: England United Kingdom

What is the job?

DeFi and Web3.0 have turned out to be the killer apps that are taking public distributed ledgers from niche products for speculators and hobbyists to projects of global economic significance. No matter how powerful and flexible you build a platform, at the end of the day, the success of Radix will reside on how it interacts with other projects in the space.

Would you thrive in a place where you are in charge of the smooth integration of a wide variety of crypto services like exchanges, oracles, and bridges? Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, you will get to be at the forefront of integrating crypto projects in the Radix network. As our dedicated Crypto Integrations Engineer, you will be working closely with engineers in multiple teams to ensure that our external partners have the best possible experience coming to grips with the Radix stack. This will range from writing tools to help our partners to tasks such as writing documentation and answering technical questions in Telegram, Discord, or messenger pigeons if that gets the job done.

You will have the opportunity to grow your technical knowledge and have unique visibility on the crypto ecosystem that is going to build around Radix. You’ll gain insight into on-chain oracles, exchanges, automated market makers, and many others to come.

What are we looking for?

  • You’ll provide support for integration with exchanges, oracles, bridges, and many others during the integration phase and future upgrades.
  • You’ll coordinate across different channels, both within RDX Works and exchanges to overcome technical challenges, manage/mitigate risks, and ensure successful integration with the Radix network.
  • You’ll become an expert on Radix Network Gateway and answer detailed questions from integration partners on functionality, and best practices/recommendations for integration.
  • You’ll maintain and improve documentation for external and internal use. Therefore, having experience collecting and documenting requirements in formats such as user stories & use cases would be advantageous.
  • You’ll help the Radix community and integration partners by writing tools that automate some of the processes.

  • You could be a great fit, if our company values resonate with you - Ask for help, Get shit done. Be excellent to each other. Take the initiative, You’ve got this. Do the right thing, not the easy thing. Strong opinions, loosely held.

What do you need?

  • Being comfortable supporting & working with external clients
  • We use Docker, Docker-compose, and a variety of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), so we’d like to see demonstrable knowledge.
  • You would need to be familiar with DevOps principles and practices.
  • You must have scripting experience with Python.
  • Being comfortable speaking & presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Being comfortable taking the initiative and enjoying solving problems by using your technical knowledge.
  • Technically we would like to see experience with Linux & working in, deploying, and troubleshooting Node.js/C#/Java-based solutions.

Who are we?

At RDX Works, we're a team of like-minded thinkers who have long been convinced that we're living in the earliest stages of a global financial revolution. This revolution is being fuelled by decentralized finance (or DeFi for short), which is enabling an assortment of pioneering developers and entrepreneurs to re-invent almost every financial product that is currently traded and invested in traditional markets, without requiring central authorities or siloed infrastructure. DeFi has captured a great deal of attention and investment in the crypto-aware niche, growing assets under management from $1 billion to over $200 billion in a few years. Impressive as its growth has been, its current market size isn't even a rounding error on the over $400 trillion held in traditional finance. We're focused on what it will take to go from billions to trillions.

RDX went back to first principles to come up with the right technical solution—the first layer-one protocol built specifically for mainstream DeFi—and we have already tested out at over 1 million transactions per second. We're keenly aware that the need for an infinitely scalable platform is only one prerequisite among many for mass adoption, and we're also blazing new ground in the areas of purpose-built developer tools, user experiences, and regulatory integration.

We have forged a path deep into the future of what distributed ledger technology is going to look like and we need you to come and be part of the team that is making that happen right now.

Alternatively, if you feel like you don’t match all of the requirements, we would love you to still apply anyway. We understand that confidence gaps and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting incredible candidates and we wouldn’t want this to prevent us from meeting you; especially as we are big advocates of helping people learn & grow. This is also another reason we do not advertise salaries, we want to keep it as even a playing field as possible!

Here at RDX Works, we believe in being salary agnostic. This means that we pay salaries based on your expertise and what you can add to the business, aligning with London market rates; not based on your location or the economy of your country of residence.

Radix DLT focuses on Technology and Distributed Systems. Their company has offices in London. They have a small team that's between 11-50 employees.
