Web3 Data Engineer Intern

We are a full-stack cryptocurrency trading entity. We have our own proprietary latency-sensitive trading system, sophisticated trading algorithms and execution platform, and extensive data analytics infrastructure. We have access to all major cryptocurrency exchanges globally.

We provide an institutional-grade market-making service to token projects, and exchanges by providing consistent support and resistant liquidity in requested markets. Overall, we tend to keep market neutral in order to thrive in any market conditions.

About the role:

Anti Capital is seeking a Data Engineer Intern to join our growing, high-caliber team of developers and mentors. The data infrastructure is largely implemented in Rust, so strong coding skills/computer science background is key for this role. Candidates must be able to relocate to the NYC office.

Responsibilities:

• Implement data collection services in Rust, pulling data from various sources, including HTTP endpoints, WebSocket endpoints, and various databases
• Design and query robust data structures on MongoDB underpinning our internal analytics systems, such as market data and trading strategy performance metrics

Who you are:

• 5 years of coding experience, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Basic working knowledge of Rust at a minimum.
• Experience with any database at a minimum. Knowledge of MongoDB is a big plus.
• Basic knowledge of web communication protocols, API design, database connection and queries, and data structure design skills
• Highly motivated to learn and grow
• Experience with testing and gathering internal feedback
• Passionate self-starter looking to succeed in a fast-paced startup environment
• Interest in blockchain, cefi, defi, and crypto trading in general
• Represents the values of the company and is a key member of the team.
• Excellent written and spoken English, any other languages will be a plus
