Web3 DeFi Product Manager

About the Opportunity:

We're seeking a mission-oriented DeFi Product Manager for a new Bitcoin DeFi product. You’ll guide a lending application for collateralized Bitcoin loans in this role. The ideal candidate has a background in DeFi, lending, credit, and/or distributed systems. You’ll work with a team of engineers, designers, operations, and marketing to bring this product to market. You’ll understand what customers need on their first day, first week, and the first month and deliver it in a simple and easy-to-understand experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the product vision and strategy for our Bitcoin lending product to drive user adoption and business impact
• Break down ideas and plans (directional input) into actionable product features and improvements guided by customer feedback
• Establish the KPIs, systems, and processes to define clear priorities
• Develop roadmaps, report on progress, and prevent & overcome blockers while tracking and contributing to product continuous improvement programs
• Define features, write product specifications, facilitate user studies, iterate on feedback, help write test plans with QA, manage the backlog, and ultimately ship on time
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and other cross-functional team members to ship a remarkable product
• Prioritize initiatives and projects appropriately and weigh tradeoffs that must be made

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of direct product management experience shipping high-quality consumer products
• 1+ years shipping crypto consumer products with experience managing such products from conception to launch
• A passion for DeFi and web3 customer-facing products
• Experience writing documentation or producing other content to synthesize technical concepts and communicate them in a clear, simple way.
• Prior experience shipping and iterating on successful products at scale
• Run user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments to inform the product direction.
• Define success metrics, analyze performance, experiment, and iterate quickly.
• Establish and measure success metrics after launch. Consistently integrate behavior data and customer feedback into essential product decisions.
• Familiarity with using research, experimentation, and product analytics to guide decision making

• Expert product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact
• Experience successfully working remotely on a full-time basis
