Web3 DevOps Engineer

merkle is on the cutting edge of MEV and crypto trading. We build products that leverage MEV to generate revenue for wallets & protect users from sandwiches. Our goal is to make crypto seamless for everyone. merkle is founded by ex-Coinbase engineers who used to write MEV bots on Polygon and Ethereum, we have deep knowledge of bots/Geth/reth. 

merkle runs a lot of infrastructure (https://blog.merkle.io/blog/building-a-eth-load-balancer), which was managed by engineers at first, but it has become a full time job to maintain and monitor this infrastructure effectively. Your job will be to setup great monitoring practices, run Geth and Reth nodes in a production environment and ensure high availability of all services.

You would also be in charge of running our dozen of services (currently on ECS) and asses the scalability of these services.
