Web3 Digital Asset Electronic Trading Product Manager

About the Team and Role

BlockFi is seeking a Product Manager with a background in product development for the Institutional team. The Digital Asset Electronic Trading Product Manager will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to create technology requirements for the Institutional Business. Digital Asset Electronic Trading Product Manager is a key partner to the Head of Electronic Trading in laying the technical roadmap across both retail and institutional trading. This candidate will interface with multiple partners including Trading, Sales, Compliance, Risk, and Legal on a range of multifaceted issues. While focusing on project initiatives, the product manager will also be involved in regular daily activities of the Electronic Trading business.

Responsibilities

• Provide operating leverage to Head of Electronic Trading for Digital Assets, supporting decision making, growth and future strategy of the businesses across relevant markets
• Act as a liaison across the organization to ensure alignment of objectives and deliverables
• Act as a point of contact for the organization answering questions about the system or specific data validation questions
• Work closely with management, sales and clients to understand wider priorities and ensure they are reflected in BlockFi’s technical roadmap
• Gather, clearly document, and define requirements for both large and small engineering initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any conflicting requirements and/or development priorities
• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to clarify questions, resolve impediments and remove blockers
• Build relationships and knowledge of crypto ecosystem through clients, Liquidity Providers (crypto and TradFi), DeFi / CeFi venues and vendor platforms to support business initiatives

QualifIcations

• B.S. degree in computer science or related area
• 3+ years development experience in digital currencies, or other capital markets preferred
• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering processes
• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes involving multiple engineering efforts
• Experience with backlog management software
• Experience with relational databases and SQL proficiency
• Experience with business analysis for electronic trading platforms preferred
• Experience with scripting languages including Python is preferred
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Be able to comprehend and analyze complex technical information and data
