Web3 Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst

The EDD Analyst primarily conducts enhanced due diligence to evaluate, identify and mitigate risks when reviewing retail customers. This position is responsible for the due diligence review of the already onboarded customers to aid in the detection of potential money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud using a risk-based approach while applying the company’s Compliance Program and related policies and procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Perform enhanced due diligence reviews on retail customers;
• Communicate with the customers to obtain all necessary information and documentation;
• Generate and maintain appropriate case documentation;
• Coach junior analysts and help increase the organisational capability of the EDD team;
• Identify risks and suggest implementation of applicable controls to mitigate them;
• Escalate any issues or complex cases and ensure their resolution;
• Keep backlogs at a minimum;
• Other ad-hoc business due diligence related tasks.

• Prior experience in EDD, KYC, AML, Fraud, Risk, Transactions monitoring, or other relevant experience.
• Bachelor's level degree or professional qualification;
• Good oral and written communication skills required;
• Proficiency in verbal and written English. Second language will be considered an advantage;
• Good Research Skills;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask;
• Fast learner and able to adapt to a global company;
