Web3 Sportsbook Analyst Brazil

We’re looking for a sports and betting enthusiast to join the LatAm Sportsbook team. Reporting to the Sportsbook Manager, you will be part of a new team primarily managing the trading, risk & content management amongst other aspects of the product. This is all to ensure it meets the needs of the Stake customers and giving them a first-class experience.No day will ever be the same. Tasks will include live-time monitoring of odds; client customer profiling; identifying any unusual betting patterns/behaviours; and periodic reporting of the 24/7 betting schedule. You will work through large betting data sets to analyse information to assist with the above, therefore analytic skills are a must.  Working closely with the Sportsbook Manager, you’ll be looking for data that supports the decision making and then communicating findings to other colleagues, teams and external partners. Risk will also be a constant component of the job, requiring you to maximize customer experience as well as profitability. Therefore, it is essential the candidate has working knowledge/fundamentals of Sports betting.  You’ll develop strong working relationships with the Sportsbook team, Marketing, Customer Support function and the wider business, all in the interest of the Stake brand. Therefore, the experience and/or the ability to work interdepartmentally across a global business will be required. Role and Responsibilities 

Customer & risk management – profiling and segmenting customers, in addition to monitoring betting activity both retrospectively and in real time Reporting on product performance, including daily and weekly product performance reviews Providing level 2 support to our customer support team, assisting them in dealing with customer queries Site content management – including optimization of content and overall quality control Running backend reports for in-depth analysis

Work experience and skills Essential experience:

Passion and interest for both sports and betting Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication skills Industry experience is preferable, specifically odds compiling and trading Ability to work a rota of shifts flexible to the business requirements. Ability to work any 5 of the 7 days, which will include shifts between hours of 07:00 - 21:00

It would be a bonus if you also had:

Knowledge of Brazilian sports is essential, with a wider knowledge of LatAm preferrable. Knowledge of spread betting (and the relationship between spread and fixed odds trading). Knowledge and interest in Esports would be highly beneficial. Knowledge of fixed odds market and the principles involved in pricing and trading sports events. Knowledge of Sports and/or Casino terminology. Responsible Gaming experience. Proficient with Google suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Jira & Intercom.

An ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external service providers, agencies, vendors, associations, and other external facing organisations.

Relationships

You will work closely with the Operations team in Bogota, Colombia. You will work with Marketing and the Acquisition team for promotions & retention as well as Business Intelligence for reporting. Constant communication with the Sportsbook teams with the global offices. This position will report into the Sportsbook Manager with ongoing support and supervision from them. You will also work closely and establish a positive working relationship with our third-party odds providers as well as other vendors and suppliers.
