The Role
This role as a Core Engineer will have the primary accountability of designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting Emote’s Scrypto smart contracts within the Emote ecosystem and its associated projects. The job will include working on Emote’s integration with a privacy layer, a novel data storage system and our omni-chain partner. Scrypto is based off Rust language and very easy to learn for any developer but this process will be assisted by our very experienced lead technical advisor.
Responsibilities
- Implementing the core Emote protocol and associated functionality
- Exploring privacy and omni-chain integrations
- Maintaining deployed technologies, fixing bugs, and identifying improvements to the protocol for the future
Ideal Candidate
- Experience building software in Rust programming language or willingness to learn Scrypto under guidance of experienced technical advisor
- Deeply passionate about DeFi and driven to build the future
- Team player
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with ZK & Omni-chain infrastructure
- Ability to communicate in AEST hours
- Able to commit to a long-term (2+ year) working relationship
