Web3 Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced, well rounded, and highly motivated Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at B2C2 USA Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a deep understanding of GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and solid expertise in managing accounting operations. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our firm while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the accurate application of GAAP across all financial activities.
• Ensure that application of finance processes meet SOX compliance rules and regulations.
• Research / implement changes in accounting standards to ensure compliance & accuracy in reporting.
• Manage the preparation, review, and submission of all regulatory and compliance reports.
• Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely adjustments in reporting.
• Coordinate activities with external auditors to support the annual audit.
• Take the lead on implementation of quarterly tax planning and compliance.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide management and EXCO with financial information vital to the decision-making process
• Preparing budgeting and forecasting processes
• Fulfil additional ad hoc duties are required to meet the needs of the business.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with global team members including senior management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
