Wallet is hiring a Web3 QA Automation Engineer

Wallet in Telegram is a digital asset solution natively embedded into Telegram’s interface. Backed by The Open Platform, Wallet in Telegram gained 100M+ user accounts in 2024, and aims to make its solution available to all 1BN+ of Telegram’s users. Wallet in Telegram offers a dual-wallet experience with Crypto Wallet (a multi-chain wallet for trading and sending crypto to contacts) and TON Wallet (a self-custodial wallet with access to the TON ecosystem of dApps and tokens).
Now we are looking to expand by hiring a QA Automation Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Review the existing codebase and identify testing scenarios suitable for automation.
- Support new releases and adapt automated tests according to codebase changes.
- Collaborate with other teams to define test scenarios.
- Continuously monitor and analyze automated test failures in a timely manner.
- Monitor the stability of both new and existing automated tests — our goal is an evergreen test run.
- Set up and maintain test environments and test data.
- Control and optimize test execution time when needed.
- Perform and participate in code reviews.
- Design and evolve test automation architecture and frameworks.

Requirements:
- Proactive mindset with a strong product-oriented approach.
- 3+ years of experience in test automation or software development in test (SDET) roles.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Kotlin, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven experience in designing test architecture and building scalable automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, the testing pyramid, and industry best practices for automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and integrating automated tests into build processes.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining test environments, managing test data, and creating mock/stub services.
- Practical experience working with REST APIs, databases, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and microservice architectures.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive cross-team results.
- Experience with continuous production monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, OpenSearch) for detecting and analyzing live issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and code review workflows.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience testing fintech services and payment workflows.
- Hands-on experience as a blockchain user, with a solid understanding of wallets, transactions, and dApps.
- Experience testing cross-platform applications and mini-apps.
