Web3 Mining Analyst

About You

Galaxy’s Mining Team is building a one-stop shop for mining related financial services by utilizing our in-house expertise to provide novel and sophisticated tools for Bitcoin miners. The mining team works across all Galaxy business units to create and enhance product offerings to miners. The Bitcoin Mining Analyst is a core part of the mining team, assisting across projects related to prop. mining, mining research, new mining businesses, and mining investments.

On a given day at Galaxy, you will:

• Provide full support to Galaxy Digital’s mining team across multiple mining projects through research, analysis, modeling, presentation creation
• Work closely with prop. mining team on long-term projects
• Meet with key stakeholders both internally and externally
• Solve problems to achieve long-term mining outcomes
• Help analyze Bitcoin mining economics and practices, such as hashrate forecasts and transaction fee analysis
• Create data sets, reports, and present findings in a compelling and succinct manner
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and track new technologies in the space that may impact our business such as the lightning network

You’ve worked hard for:

• 1+ years in a financial services, investment banking, consulting role
• You have a strong interest and curiosity in Bitcoin and bitcoin mining

You rock at:

• Financial modeling
• Presentation
• Complex problem solving in a high growth business
• Being a self-starter, comfortable “wearing multiple hats” in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with R, Python, or SQL is a plus
