Please note that Sorare is a hybrid work company; employees are required to be in office 3 days a week. 

 As a MLB & NBA Data Analyst intern within our Analytics org at Sorare, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our product and marketing teams through in-depth analysis, reporting, metric design, and testing and experimentation. You will work closely with cross-functional product and marketing teams to derive actionable insights from data, enabling data-driven decision-making to enhance user experience and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

•  Conduct thorough analysis of user journey (acquisition, engagement, retention) for our MLB and NBA products and provide recommendations to drive product improvements, with a dedicated focus on in-app mobile usage

• Collaborate with product teams to define and implement relevant KPIs and generate regular reports and dashboards to deliver key insights to product and marketing teams.

• Communicate findings in a clear and accessible manner to non-technical stakeholders

• Translate new features and insight needs into clear tracking & experimentation plan

• Monitor the good balance and fairness of our gameplay and rewards dynamics

• Contribute to building reward scheme of the upcoming MLB season and NBA playoffs

• Collaborate with the data engineering team to improve data models quality in dbt

Requirements

• Strong interest over both sport tech and gaming industries

• BA/BS in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline

• Proven professional or academic experience with Python and SQL for data analysis

• Passionate about Basketball and/or Baseball

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex findings in a clear and understandable way

• You are a team player who collaborates with empathy and respect

• You have an entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
