Web3 Product Data Analyst

Who is Fortress?
Fortress Blockchain Technologies is purpose-built to deliver financial, regulatory, and technology infrastructure to the rapidly emerging Web3 space. The company provides financial services, including compliance, payments, custody, trustee-of-assets, escrow, crypto liquidity, and other services. Including a minting engine for fungible and non-fungible tokens as well as tools for the distribution and management of tokens. A secure, user-friendly NFT and crypto wallet that can be integrated into third-party mobile and web applications.
Job Summary
Fortress is looking for a Product/Data Analyst to be an early member of our team helping to drive data forward!
As a part of this role you will be own our BI (Looker), making data available for our teams and producing reports and dashboards including for executives. You will also establish and own the data pipelines for consumer products with tools like Segment and Heap. There will also be a need to produce analytics for our creator ecosystem to help our clients (eg: businesses, celebrities, etc) better understand their end customers.
This is an opportunity to be early in our product-market fit and to help establish what data will look like within a well funded and positioned company. We already have the first version of our products live with early customers onboarded and using our product.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas for exploratory analysis to shape product and model development
• Leverage a modern data stack to perform intensive analysis across all areas of our product to drive product development and business strategy
• Instrument events and develop metrics and dashboards to monitor our performance
• Contribute to experiment design and interpret the results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions
• Perform rigorous statistical analysis to understand the relationship between various factors that influence key outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as product, engineering, and operations
• Present findings to senior leadership to drive product decisions
• Communicate analysis and decisions to high-level stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written formats

• Proficiency with advanced SQL
• Experience with data modeling
• Experience with tools like Looker, Segment, Heap
• The ability to present complex topics in a concise and actionable manner
• Proficiency with python for data analysis and data visualization a nice to have
• The ability to manage stakeholder expectations and help with design, development and delivery of data products
• The ability to facilitate cross-functional projects that depend on the contributions of others in a variety of disciplines
