What is the Role?
If you’re excited about taking part in the next seismic disruption to FinTech, and are obsessed with delivering exceptional developer experiences, then please read on. We’re on the hunt for an exceptional product manager to own the Crypto pillar of the Solid platform. You will have high ownership over this area and work with nearly every function at Solid. You will also work closely with our diverse clients to understand the world of products they are building on top of our infrastructure, and should be obsessed with facilitating their innovation.
The ideal candidate will be organized and mature in their approach (reliability is paramount after all), but will also have a penchant for questioning everything and refusing to accept the limitations of the way things have always been done. Who does this role report to?
Chief Product Officer
Top responsibilities & accountabilities:
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.

Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
What do I need to excel in this role?
5+ years of experience as a technical product manager, with some experience working on fintech or financial services.
Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, Postman, and writing API specifications.
Experience working on programs to define and build cloud-native software products as a platform at scale.
Experience creating great developer experiences (delightful documentation, API design, integration experience, etc.).
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Good understanding of Cloud technologies like Dockers.
Demonstrated success at a startup or in a high-growth environment.
Detailed understanding of the fintech ecosystem and platform business model with a SaaS offering.
Understanding of financial services infrastructure, financial networks or payment processor structures

Execution in ambiguity. You’re comfortable and thrive in fast-changing environments.

Ability to quickly understand complex business requirements and craft tailored solutions.
Strong analytical skills and operating rigor
Strong executive presence and presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
Track record of managing large, complex projects and/or programs
Willingness to tackle things on your own
