Web3 Product Manager, Data

Interested in working on cutting-edge blockchain technology and creating equitable access to the global financial system? Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high-scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

The Stellar network is one of the world’s most used blockchains, and that use generates a lot of data. We need a PM to partner with our talented Data and Platform engineering teams to deliver the data tools and APIs to support an increasingly diverse set of companies and use cases built on the network.

In this role, you will:

• Build an understanding of the entire breadth of data use cases on the network, by working with large financial institutions, global NGOs, decentralized protocols and small start ups building applications.
• Understand their diverse needs so that you can act as their voice and champion as we work with the community to build new tools and standards.
• Build and prioritize a roadmap which accounts for the needs of this diverse group of stakeholders alongside the broader objectives of the organization.
• Be an advocate for your products, roadmap and the customers they support across the org, Stellar community and broader industry.

You have:

• 2+ years of PM experience working on multi-user software applications
• Experience delivering API, CLI or library driven products that are well documented and provide a great experience for developers
• The ability to apply user insights and data analyses to inform product decisions
• Familiarity with modern data architectures and data movement patterns

Bonus Points if:

• Experience working with large datasets and analytics applications. Experience working on highly available software systems
• Past contributions or work with open source software projects.
• Interest in distributed systems, and blockchain infrastructure.

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $130,000 - $160,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
