Web3 Production Engineer (Senior)

At Crossmint, we are creating the infrastructure layer to make NFTs mainstream. We are trusted by 5,000+ creators and marketplaces, like Magic Eden, David Guetta, Sacramento Kings and Tomorrowland.

Our core product is the leadingfiat on-ramp for NFTs. It enables anyone to buy them in 1 minute, even if they don't have wallets or crypto. Check it outhere!

We have a broader suite of NFT APIs and developer tools for enterprises, including minting APIs, and custodial wallets as a service.

We’re backed by Tier 1 investment firms, have strong PMF, many many years of runway and have a very small technical and product team.

Responsibilities 💪🏽

• Identify data issues, performance problems, deviations from the desired non-functional performance requirements

• Develop plans that improve efficiency and stability with our internal tools

• Become an expert in, and the main maintainer for our database tools (Redis, Mongo, Firestore), AWS (EC2, Step Functions, …), Blockchain RPC infra (Alchemy, Quicknode, Helius, Neeva), etc.

• Ensure we have a clean and efficient CI/CD pipeline (github actions + Cypress)

• Work in a truly agile environment, able to gather and understand requirements, propose solutions for those and build them

About you 🤟🏽

• Scrappy and independent, but a team player

• Focus on excellence and optimization

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills and industry experience

• 4+ years of experience in an engineering role. At least 2+ years of experience in Production Engineering, dev-ops or SRE.

• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Experience with at least 2 of: MongoDB, AWS, Cypress, Github Actions, Blockchain node infrastructure.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Bonus:
  • Experience with blockchain (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, …)
  • Have bought or minted an NFT
