Web3 Python Lead developer

Stake Capital is looking for a Python Lead developer to reinforce our DeFi Quant trading team.

Stake Capital is a $1B+ AUM fund run by a team of Blockchain and DeFi pioneers, focused on building the next generation companies in the web3 space. Stake Capital backs builders, businesses, and networks by investing and building at different maturity stages, leveraging its global footprint, and providing access to our ecosystem and partners.

Your role will be to take charge of the integration of financial strategies produced by our researchers. You will work in collaboration with our Cloud architect and DevOps team to design your needs for cloud infrastructures and automations.

Our system is based on an event driven solution with two main components:

- The ingestion system written in JavaScript based on NodeRed framework which do the job of an ETL. 

- The analytic / strategy system written in Python (in progress) which will be the environment of researcher to process financial strategies based on the ETL events and data.

Our stack is composed by many components:

-   Graph Oriented database (Gremlin)

-   Cache system (Redis)

-   Message broker (Kafka)

-   Relational databases

-   Elasticsearch

-   Vault

-   3+ years of experience as a Python lead developer 

-   Experience leading software delivery

-   Genuine interest in solving technical challenges

-   Proficient in Python SDK development.

-   Good knowledge on JavaScript 

-   Adept with the full software development lifecycle.

-   Optimized system design and improvements

-   Familiarity with basic tools such as Git

-   Good communication and written language skills

-   Ability to make good architectural decisions

-   AWS, Kubernetes, and Event driven system experience are desirable.

-   Knowledge of finance and Web3 is a plus
