Web3 QA Engineer (Dapper Collectives)

Our QA Teams’ activities and responsibilities cover the entire quality system at Dapper Collectives. Your role as a highly skilled QA Engineer is part of our quality management focused on providing confidence that Dapper Collectives' quality requirements and standards are being fulfilled. Your role at Dapper Collectives is twofold — internally to our company’s leadership and externally to our community, customers, government agencies, regulators, certifiers, and third parties. You are an integral part that all of our planned and systematic activities will be implemented within a demonstrable quality system to provide confidence that our products and services are fulfilling all our quality requirements. As part of the Technology team at Dapper Collectives you will be responsible for testing, improving and iterating our core tech including web, blockchain and digital art creation. With such a diverse stack we are looking for people who can learn fast, collaborate and share their unique knowledge. The development team at Dapper Collectives works within a flat organizational chart and gives a lot of room to its tribe of feature builders for decentralized, independent and self-directed work.

Key responsibilities:

• Drafting, interpreting, and implementing quality assurance standards and procedures for the organization.
• Evaluating new and existing regulations to ensure our quality assurance protocols fulfill requirements.
• Ensuring product quality through regular auditing and testing.
• Recording the results of our internal audits for reference, including statistical data about the quality of your products.
• Identifying areas in our software development process to improve product quality and online safety.
• Developing training processes for each individual who is part of our software development process.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance and risk management across the organization.

Knowledge, skills, experience and strengths:

• 3-5 years of experience in testing web applications
• Demonstrate leadership within the department.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• In depth familiarity with statistical analysis.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrate in depth industry-specific technical knowledge.
• Forward thinking to avoid any pitfalls.
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks (Cypress and Selenium).
• Knowledgable in BDD, Data Driven frameworks.
• Experienced in JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Micro Services and Unit Testing experience.
• Experience in API testing (Karate, Postman, Newman).
• Strong understanding of REST or SOAP API, JSON and XML formats.
• Experience in automating APIs with tools like Postman and Newman.
• Good knowledge of performance and security tools such as Jmeter, or equivalent tools.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment in Jenkins pipelines.
• Clear, effective and timely communication.
• Demonstrate in depth industry-specific technical knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Forward thinking to avoid any pitfalls.

• Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate with data.
• Increased project management skills and early spotting of any software development issues.
• Deep understanding of Dapper Collectives and its culture.
• Understanding of how our software impacts the human beings who use is.
