We are a team to design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various ventures projects, i.e., projects that are adjacent to our core businesses and are bootstrapped fast with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.
Job Summary
- The QA Manager will lead the Quality Assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
- This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in software testing and quality processes.
- The QA Manager will collaborate across cross-functional teams to define quality strategies, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and innovation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and quality plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and automation testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development teams to integrate quality practices into the development lifecycle.
- Define QA metrics, monitor test coverage, defect rates, and test execution to measure quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive the adoption and improvement of test automation frameworks and tools to accelerate testing cycles and improve accuracy.
- Establish and enforce standard testing methodologies, policies, and documentation best practices.
- Manage QA resources, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts based on risk, impact, and business needs.
- Lead efforts for CI/CD pipeline integration, ensuring automated testing supports agile development and frequent releases.
- Stay current with emerging QA trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the team’s capabilities.
- Handle escalations related to quality issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency application testing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
