Web3 Quantitative Strategist

We are seeking a Quantitative Strategist to join the Product team. You will work on building a risk and margin infrastructure for a decentralized clearing and settlement protocol.

• Building a prototype library for a sophisticated decentralized derivatives and spot clearing and settlement protocol.
• Implementing a market simulator and backtesting tools to optimize the existing methodology
• Monitoring and assessing market liquidity risk, insolvency risk, and other relevant protocol risks
• Help maintain test coverage and documentation
• Communicate requirements effectively within and across teams

• A strong background in mathematics with good knowledge of probability theory, statistics and numerical methods
• Good understanding of financial derivatives and market microstructure
• Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques
• Strong programming skills with quantitative languages such as Python, C++, Go, Spark
• Strong interest in crypto and DeFi
• Ability to think independently and communicate complex ideas clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and liaise effectively with institutional customers and partners

Nice to have

• Experience with optimizing algorithms to run real-time
• Experience with building execution algorithms
• Experience working for a DeFi/CeFi exchange
