Description

Our client is looking for an experienced and high energy Senior C#/.NET developer to help drive the development
and delivery of an ASP.NET web application product.

Primary Responsibilities

 Design, develop, implement and maintain web applications using ASP.NET.
 Evaluate and provide technical solutions to complex application development problems.
 Work closely with business stakeholders and leads to elaborate and refine stories for the team.
 Collaborate with other team members to develop product features and services.
 Develop tests to validate code quality.
 Work with QA on developing testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies.
 Perform technical and design reviews with other team members to ensure quality and software
engineering best practices are followed by the team.
 Ensure design patterns are documented and enforced within the team.
 Stay up to date on relevant technologies, trends and opportunities.

Key Qualifications

 +5 years of development experience.
 Extensive experience with ASP.NET MVC and Razor.
 Extensive Experience using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.
 Highly proficient in software development using C# / .NET
 Highly proficient in MS SQL Server.
 Highly proficient developing APIs using industry best practices.
 Experience developing distributed applications using messaging patterns and queuing technologies like NServiceBus, Mass Transit, AWS MQ or Azure Service Bus.
 Experience with git and bitbucket source control systems.
 Knowledge of CICD process, automated testing (unit & integration) and software engineering best practices.
 Knowledge of Scrum and Agile Methodologies.
 Commitment to understanding the business domain and incorporating quality software practices into
all phases of the project life lifecycle.
 Strong team player with excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
 Self-motivated professional who demonstrates strong technical agility and responsiveness and who is
eager to learn and grow.

Nice to have

 Experience with AWS services: EC2, RDS, SQS, SNS, SES, S3 and others.
 Experience with single sign-on, session management, user profiles, and user identity and
authentication frameworks such as OAuth.
 Experience developing Angular applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
 Experience developing APIs with GraphQL.

Education

 BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information
Technology or a related discipline or demonstrated similar experience.

Geographic Scope Travel Requirements

 Remote
 Occasional travel of short to moderate duration for training, team building, industry trade shows or
customer support might be required.
 Must be able to work core business hours 9-3pm CST.
