Celestia Labs is seeking a remote full-time Software Engineer in Test to help test the software that we are developing.

Responsibilities

    • Design readable test scenarios for our modular stack
    • Group test-cases into test-plans for execution/reporting in different stages
    • Develop test scenarios using existing tools or creating new ones
    • Contribute to our automation framework
    • Participate in technical discussions on issues and code reviews on pull requests
    • Collaborate with developers across multiple teams for feedback harvesting on upcoming test scenarios
    • Bug reporting and keeping existing ones up to date
    • Debugging discovered software issues into the extent that is lifting as much pain from devs as possible

Who You Are

    • At least 2 years of experience in this role or similar (Software Developer in Test, QA Automation)
    • You have developed automation frameworks from scratch in Go, Python or other system languages
    • Experience with GIT (Github, GitLab, etc.), Docker
    • Experience with CI/CD
    • Experience with building maintainable and well documented codebases
    • Experience with open source software development tools like Github
    • You live within Eastern US and European time zones
    • Native proficiency in English
    • You’re excited about web3 and modular blockchains!

Nice to Haves

    • Experience with Testground
    • Hands-on experience with Cosmos SDK
    • A testing microservices background
