Web3 Tact R&D Lead

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Technical Lead to lead R&D for Tact Language Project on the TON Blockchain. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for researching demand of improvements required to perfect the language, conducting robust R&D activities, and coordinating community effort in building the language to ensure project goals are met with high- quality outcomes.

Responsibilities1. Lead and manage the Tact community effort in development of Tact Language. 2. Apply updates and fixes to the Tact language as per project requirements or as discovered during the research process. 3. Conduct extensive research and development work to keep Tact at the forefront of blockchain technology. 4. Collaborate effectively with team members, working on complemeting areas i.e. collecting feedback from developer community. 5. Spearhead the security audits of Tact -> FunC compiler to ensure the highest level of safety for our users. 6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of blockchain technology trends and emerging technologies to keep Tact competitive and innovative compared to other programming languages environment. 7. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders. 8. Manage project deadlines and deliverables to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications1. Work on similar Open Source projects is highly appreciated. Degrees are considered. 2. Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar leadership role in a software development project, preferably in the blockchain space. 3. Proficiency in TypeScript, Tact / FunC, or understanding of Fift language and knowing of specific TON blockchain concepts like infinite sharding. 4. Experience with smart contract development, blockchain protocols, and cryptographic principles. 5. Excellent understanding of compiler construction and language design. 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. A proactive approach to work, with a keen focus on quality and attention to detail.
