Requirements

6+ years experience designing digital experiences, products, and platforms as a User Experience Designer,

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch and other industry design and prototyping tools
-
Experience designing interfaces and interactions for web and mobile applications
-
A professional portfolio with examples of your past work.

Broad or secondary UX skills outside your core specialty: interaction design, user research, visual design, UI animation, etc.

A passion for games or other interactive experiences and entertainment (movies, games, music).

Experience or interest in web3 and related technologies a plus.
What you’ll be working on
The Role
We are currently looking for a talented UX/UI Design Lead to join our core team. You will have experience in games or interactive entertainment UX/UI design with a strong sense of best practices for first time user experience, functionality, information prioritization, flow, and information organization/delivery.
You’ll work closely with the leadership team to set the design strategy and own design delivery in a high-scope product platform that is looking to change the shape of how IP is created collaboratively. The spaces will generally encompass multiple features, often spanning across different social platforms..
You will apply design thinking and take a broad approach to ensure experiential continuity across our platform and external user touch points. In this role reporting to the CPO, you’ll work from concept through development and collaborate with other designers, visual designers, product owners, and technologists to achieve your goals. Delivery will include assessment and production of wireframes, flow diagrams, visual mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Responsibilities:

Lead UX design across platform work streams, focusing on the interaction design and user flows for these areas

Clearly present and communicate data-informed design ideas, vision, and strategy through visual storytelling.

Accurate planning and estimation design work for medium to large projects.

Review specs with product team and provide high-level feedback on implementation of UX.

Collaborate across the team to design this large-scale platform for partners and end-users

Work with contractors and consultants or hire new resources as needed to complete project goals

Work with the team to collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data through multiple user research methods to make informed decisions, and communicate those learnings to others.

Provide appropriate level of design artifacts for the team (e.g., Strategy articulation, discovery/ research results, journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes)

Engage in design reviews and feedback sessions. Present designs for feedback, and give feedback to other XD team members.

Partner with stakeholders to determine effectiveness of UX implementation.

Iterate with all required disciplines to help deliver the best possible UX for our products:

Establish a strong understanding of our users through UX research, community insights, and actively using the platform for first-hand experience.

Ideate and provide UX solutions that give direction to new features and ensure we deliver positive, player-centered experiences.

Ensure UX design consistency and re-use by leveraging and developing a Component Library.
