Job Description:

As a Unity Engineer at BattleFly, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our game assets and features to life. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including game designers, engineers from other disciplines, artists, and more. Your expertise in Unity development will be crucial in building the support for our next-generation games.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Unity-based game systems, cosmetics, and features that seamlessly integrate both traditional web and blockchain systems.

- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement mechanics, UI/UX elements, and visual effects that align with the creative vision.

- Integrate blockchain components such as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and user wallet information into the game ecosystem.

- Optimize performance and ensure smooth user experiences with a focus on WebGL deployment to support a variety of devices.

- Work closely with full stack and blockchain developers to integrate web3 components and ensure secure and reliable interactions.

- Rapidly prototype and iterate on new ideas, seeking innovative ways to leverage web3 technologies.

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Unity development, web3 standards, and blockchain integration techniques.

- Contribute to technical documentation and provide insights to guide design and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in Unity game development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your contributions to interactive and visually appealing games.

- Familiarity with web3 technologies, blockchain concepts, and decentralized applications.

- Proficiency in C# programming 

- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to implement polished user interfaces.

- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Bonus Skills:

- Previous experience working on blockchain-based games or applications.

- Familiarity with Ethereum, Solidity, and smart contract development.

- Knowledge of decentralized marketplaces, NFT standards (e.g., ERC-721, ERC-1155), and web3 wallets.
