Hivemapper is a decentralized map built by people, using dashcams and drones, who will soon be compensated with our cryptocurrency, representing a fundamental shift in how maps are built and who has ownership of them.

We are backed by some of the best VC firms in the world, and our map API is used by forward-looking businesses including enterprise tech, mapping and navigation, transportation and logistics, insurance and real estate, and many more.

Our work is fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-disciplinary, and we are rapidly investing in building our team and technology to focus on solving challenges as we continue to grow.

We are looking for a full-time Network Support Operations Manager in the SF Bay Area, where we are based, but are also open to a candidate who can work remotely in Los Angeles, which is currently one of our most active markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling contributor related inbound inquiries across all channels - emails, Discord, and other social channels
  • Communicate thoughtfully with our contributors to ensure they are up-to-date with new product releases and have the best onboarding experience possible
  • Identify and track improvements that can be done for the contributor onboarding experience
  • Help build and maintain systems of institutional knowledge
  • Create template responses to make responding to inquiries much more efficient
  • Leverage internal and external tools for efficient resolutions of contributor inquiries
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the Hivemapper platform to remove barriers for our contributors
  • Maintain and support our Discord community

You should consider applying if:

  • You have at least 3+ years of experience in customer service roles at a fast growing tech startup
  • You have exceptional oral and written communication skills that show energy and empathy
  • You are organized, process-driven, and capable of working with the rest of the Hivemapper team to continue to iterate the onboarding experience for our contributors
  • You take ownership of solving contributor issues and are organized, practical, and systematic in your work
  • You have effective time management and self-accountability skills
  • You are data driven and use data effectively to solve problems
  • You have a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. You possess humility and grit - no task is too big or too small
  • Exceptional Excel and Google Sheets skills

Bonus if you have the following:

  • Have experience working with drivers, rideshare drivers, delivery drivers, etc
  • Have worked with maps
