Telcoin is a startup fintech provider, utilizing blockchain technology to deliver cutting edge financial products and services in the decentralised finance space working closely with Central banks. Telcoin is expanding rapidly, we now have operations in 10+ countries and ambition to launch in many more. Our mission is to bring fast and affordable, user-owned financial products to every mobile phone user in the world and to provide the connectivity between various mobile wallets, Telcos, Mobile App users, Exchanges etc.

Role Responsibilities

The marketing manager will report to the Chief Commercial officer and will be responsible for the day to day planning and execution of marketing activities and events to achieve business goals.

The role includes working with senior management, partners (Telcos and Fintechs), Govt agencies or Regulators, product, investments, finance, internal and external agencies and vendors in addition to other business teams.

The candidate should be able to, from a marketing & relationship perspective:

  • You will define the B2B2C strategy and Marketing plan under supervision of the Chief Commercial officer to increase the level of client and partner activations by partnering with in-market teams globally, sub-regional, product owners, and client facing consulting teams to identity and execute upon opportunities to effectively market Telcoin products
  • Management and conception through to execution and post event analysis of all Telcoin events globally. Events include sponsorship of large high profile Fintech/Telco/Blockchain events, investments, large themed Blockchain conferences, and investment outlook roadshows.
  • You will manage the co-marketing for new product launches to ensure maximum traction with end customers and partners, sharing your subject matter expertise and acting in a mentorship capacity where appropriate
  • You will lead Development of marketing collaterals, franchise marketing brochures and collateral supporting the sales, present Marketing plans and detailed schematics of Telcoin products to customers and partners
  • You will drive all Digital marketing activities to build awareness of Telcoin brand through social media
  • You will develop innovative, Go to market strategies of maximising reach via client and channel partners
  • You will ensure that planned marketing activities align with key Telcoin priorities and client objectives and have well defined business and marketing KPIs
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the Fintech/Blockchain industry and the products or services they sell to build a competitive advantage
  • You will conduct analysis and provide locally focused thought leadership and advice by leveraging data, metrics, and insights to be shared with internal teams, senior management, and external clients
  • You will manage local agency partners to execute integrated marketing programs and communications
  • You will champion the Telcoin brand position in the market for B2B audiences
  • You will optimise the value of Telcoin’s global sponsorship portfolio to deliver against client and corporate objectives
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the Fintech/Blockchain industry and the products or services they sell
  • Proactively seek new knowledge and skills and facilitate the development of intellectual capital
  • Act as a mentor to junior marketing resources and take ownership on problem-solving and project work plans

About You

  • Strong Undergraduate degree required
  • MBA or relevant post-graduate degree highly preferred
  • Strong Fintech or Blockchain domain knowledge and passionate about Defi
  • A passion for Fintech, and in particular payments
  • Strong strategic trade marketing background with at least 3 years of experience delivering measurable business results
  • Experience with developing multi-channel marketing programs and comfort using data to optimize campaigns from multiple sources
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders to deliver accurate and on-time project deliverables
  • Work experience in management/strategy consulting firms or Fintech preferred.
  • Strong relationship management skills and commercial acumen
  • Excellent Client Presentation, Communication and Powerpoint Skills
  • Data driven and highly analytical
  • Experience in managing complex projects with external clients across geographies
  • Ability to work independently, and to accept ambiguity
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Need to have valid residency status in Singapore or London.
