Summary
Key Account Executive serves as a key member of the Sales & Marketing Team and support Supply Chain Wizard (SCW) with Sales and Business Development activities in the North America region. This critical role will be responsible for building market leadership position with the company’s innovative technology solutions (including, Digital Supply Chain and Digital Factory) by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating and sustainably continuing business relationships. In addition to Sales responsibilities, this individual will collaborate with other SCW executives to improve product/service offerings to align with customer/market needs and extend client network across the world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients; discovering and exploring opportunities, informing them about new developments with the company’s products/services, and making presentations on products/services offerings.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; and recommending engagements.
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by evaluating a new client’s needs with company strategies and operations; examining risks and sales potential; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing quotes and proposals, negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with Business Operations, Product Development, Digital Innovation and Client Services teams for product/service delivery.
- Works with Business Operations, Product Development, Digital Innovation, and Client Services teams to ensure contracted products/services are being successfully delivered to the client’s satisfaction.
- Protects client’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Enhances organization reputation by initiating and/or accepting ownership for new and different initiatives; exploring additional opportunities to add value to the company and its clients.
- Keep a structured, process & data-driven and scalable sales approach through the use of company’s CRM solution and automation capabilities
- Be a thought leader within the sales & marketing team, and the industry in general by actively engaging in social media, and building a meaningful social presence
Qualifications/Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA or Ph.D.) preferred
- 5 or more years of sales / key account management experience required
- Alignment with SCW’s company vision and values
- Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales is desired
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/Medical Devices Industry desired
- Expertise in IT, Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain processes & systems desired
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Track & Trace and Serialization Technologies industry is a major plus
- Motivation for sales; high energy level, self-starter attitude
- Software and/or system implementation experience desired
- Experience managing global projects working with cross functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and strong influencing skills
- Data and systems-driven sales planning & execution skills
- Presentation skills (oral and written), Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
- Identifying customer needs with active listening, smart questions & structured problem solving
- Closing skills, including relentless follow-up, persuasion and value-based communication
- Strong communication skills with various leader positions including ‘C’ level and Heads of Departments
- Creative talents and the ability to solve complex client problems
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current and emerging trends
- Facility with numbers and data analysis, analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organization skills
