Web3 Associate, Security Technical Project Management (Sec Risk & Compliance)

We are looking for a full-time Associate, Security Technical Project Management, who will be responsible for Governance, Risk and Compliance projects in the security team.

The role has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. The Associate will be providing support to the Project Management Lead in delivering day-to-day ‘hands on’ tasks and this include defining the scope of projects, documentations such as business cases and project status reports and managing stakeholders. The role will be responsible for allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative and motivated project team.

In this role you will:

• Work in the Security Project Management team which is part of the Security IT team;
• Manage security governance, risk and compliance projects;
  • Gather and elicit requirements from stakeholders;
  • Define project baseline in terms of scope, cost, timeline and resource;
  • Report to the Sec PMO office and Steering Committee with the management;
  • Draft test plan and test case with QA;
  • Communicate with vendor for POC and implementation;
  • Work with end-users for project initiation till roll-out;
• Act as a project manager role to support advisors for delivery of policy and procedure, system dependencies, and division/department best practices;
• Support Risk Management processes and procedures, as well as related applications and tools across the company globally;
• Manage and deliver region-specific Technology and Operational Risk Change projects;
• Assist security risk and compliance team to identify project risk and mitigate the business risk;
• Support different teams to identify risks and develop controls around frameworks like ISO27001, NIST etc;
• Working closely with risk owners and control owners to communicate audit findings, to identify remediation solutions and prioritize action plans;
• Assist the Security IT team with implementation of security controls;
• Support the development of documentation that aligns with regulatory requirements;
• Plan, direct and coordinate projects to ensure that the objectives are accomplished within the time frames allocated and budget parameters;
• Provide overall direction and leadership to the project team throughout the project lifecycle;
• Be responsible for the definition of project scope and all documentations such as business cases and project status reports;
• Review the project proposals or plans to determine the time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the projects and negotiate the resources required for each project phase;
• Identify potential risks and issues and be able to mitigate them;

• 3 years of working experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in project management with handling risk/compliance requirements;
• Risk/Compliance background, with experience in driving gap analysis, identifying remediation actions and managing implementation projects accordingly;
• Demonstrated success in defining and launching IT projects and security-related products;
• Remote work experience using collaboration and IM software like Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.;
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
• Excellent teamwork skills;
• Proactive and passionate in a Startup environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Working knowledge in German (written and spoken) would be considered a strong advantage.
