The Team
Kraken is looking for a Brand Partnerships Manager to join the Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, you will manage the relationships with our global brand partners, including producing and participating in partnership strategy development, leading partnership activations, campaigns, experiences and more. You will work closely with all Marketing functions including Brand, Social, Events, Growth and Creative teams, as well as Managed Accounts, Product and other departments, to build and execute partnership activations, and capture and convey impact. This is a key role contributing to the long-term growth plan for the Kraken brand and product suite.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is tapped into culture – from music to sports, to fashion, to art and beyond – and has experience leading partnerships across a number of these cultural verticals. You are creative, organized, versatile, a strong communicator and collaborator internally and externally, and able to ideate and produce creative, efficient and engaging partnership initiatives content on tight deadlines. You are also a self-starter that has experience wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment, switching effortlessly between planning and execution. Building and strengthening relationships is at the core the role, along with unlocking value and furthering Kraken’s Mission through creative brand partnerships. Additionally, you will help to lead and support brand-partnership related IRL activations throughout the year.
This position is a full-time remote position reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships.
The Opportunity
Help execute the brand partnerships that will support and further Kraken’s Mission and drive brand awareness
Lead the day-to-day partnership management across some of our key brand partnerships, like Williams Racing
Work independently to lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, while building, maintaining and growing strong relationships with internal and external teams
In collaboration with our Head of Brand Partnerships, support all elements of the partner management life cycle: evaluating potential opportunities, ideating and executing valuable initiatives with current partners, framing and assessment of value and impact, negotiating agreements, and implementation and optimization
Connect Kraken business priorities, brand marketing, objectives and key messages across our brand partnerships
Coordinatie and manage pre-activation promotion, on-the-day management and post-activation follow up activities
Collaborate cross-functionally on event execution logistics, asset development, and event communication and execution
Help lead the development of promotional activation content for various distribution channels
Negotiate and manage external partners/vendors
Manage event budgets efficiently through forecasting and tracking
Demonstrate effectiveness of partnership efforts through data collection and reporting

Skills you should HODL
6+ years of brand partnerships management, planning and execution experience, preferably including brand partnerships experience within the digital assets industry
Strong time management, communication, organizational and multitasking skills, flexibility and professional confidence
Demonstrated ability to efficiently work on multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience working cross-functionally and communicating to a wide range of stakeholders
Experience in a fast paced and high growth environment, ability to pivot to the needs of the market.
Experience across verticals including gaming, sports, art, music, and/or fashion partnerships a plus
Ability to learn and manage a number of different organizational tools
Enjoy and excel at working cross functionally to deliver results through partnerships
Ability to build and manage relationships with product and business leaders, internally and externally
Strong knowledge and passion for the Crypto industry
Great strategic instincts, and can exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations
Ability to travel 15%+ of the time, both domestically and internationally
Nice to haves:
