Chief Operating Officer - Blockchain Protocol

Ventured Backed well-known Blockchain Protocol is looking to hire an experience operator to work along side the two founders and help get the business to the next stage of growth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very well funded technology business at the cutting edge of blockchain technology.

We are particular interested in someone that has scaled a business significantly in a senior management position.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives related to the development and growth of the blockchain protocol
• Collaborate with the CEO and other members of the executive team to establish and execute the protocol's business plan and overall vision
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the blockchain protocol, including product development, marketing, Legal and business development
• Oversee the development and execution of the protocol's technical roadmap and ensure that it aligns with the overall business strategy
• Work closely with the protocol's community of developers, stakeholders and partners to promote the protocol and drive its adoption
• Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, including exchanges, wallets, and other blockchain protocols
• Ensure the protocol's compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Act as a spokesperson for the protocol to the media, investors, and the general public

Requirements:

• Strong experience in a senior management role in the blockchain industry
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology
• Proven track record of leading and growing a successful business or organization
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
• Understanding of the business and regulatory environment related to blockchain and cryptocurrency
• Understanding of security, scalability, and privacy considerations related to blockchain
• Understanding of cryptocurrency economics and tokenomics.
