About the Role:

We are looking for a creative self-starter whose superpower is the ability to engage and grow crypto communities so that observers become fans and fans become advocates. This person will be responsible for development and execution of community programs and initiatives that results in large scale BTRST token utility adoption and community contributions.

This individual is already deeply immersed in web3 and other DAOs/crypto projects, and have been contributing to other projects for over 1 year. This person participates in several crypto project Telegram groups and Discord channels, and is very familiar with how to grow and engage the crypto community including: hosting AMAs, creating and executing bounties, partnerships and more.

This individual will have a proven success record in growing and managing highly engaged communities on Telegram and Discord. You are an expert at relationship building: open, tenacious, curious, a champion for community members and uses data to identify cultural insights to lead community contributors and Ambassador programming.

Areas of Focus:

The focus of this role is to grow and engage the crypto community for Braintrust. This role will report to the VP of Community, and potentially manage individual contractors or community contributors.

Main areas of focus:

• Grow and engage crypto audiences to increase BTRST utility adoption and convert followers into ambassadors and contributors.

• Execute against relevant partnerships and events for social media collaboration.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Define our strategy to acquire, engage and retain crypto communities.
• Build a highly engaged Telegram community for Braintrust.
• Develop and execute partnerships with other DAOs, crypto projects and influencers to help raise our profile.
• Structure a Crypto Ambassador Program to be our advocates and leaders in local crypto markets around the world.
• Keep a pulse on trending and hot topics in the crypto community and identify areas of opportunity to grow engagement.
• Collaborate across teams to creatively engage the crypto community through content, campaigns, gamification and token participation.
• Lead and develop a calendar of crypto events that generate engagement, growth, and belonging with our crypto community. Creatively promote each event to increase attendance, develop a thoughtful and interactive agenda, and collect feedback from the participants so you can continue to raise the bar with each subsequent event.
• Develop new community programs to help fill knowledge gaps, improve token participation, and deepen the relationship among community members.
• Build and manage a team of Crypto Community Leaders to serve as extensions of the Braintrust core team. Utilize their knowledge to better understand the community experience and needs. Build the toolkit and playbooks to enable the Community Leaders to self-organize programming and initiatives to address those needs and build a stronger community.
• Surface and develop content from within our community that we can share via our blog, newsletters, social media to show the world the impact they are making through their work.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in community building, with at least 1 year experience in web3/crypto
• Deep experience building communities on Telegram and Discord
• Very familiar with using and understand user interactions on Twitter and YouTube
• You bring fresh ideas to any project or conversation
• Project management skills
• In-depth knowledge of crypto community engagement tactics and web3 culture
• Someone who isn't afraid to take on all kinds of tasks and learn new things
• A passion for the Internet or Web3 or experience in gaming/crypto
• Experience using multiple community tracking software and tools
