What You Will Do
As a Data Analyst, you will work at the intersection of research, data, and client servicing to power risk analysis, growth strategy, and decision-making. You will combine technical skills with business judgment to deliver insights, contribute to our in-house risk engine, and support clients directly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on DeFi protocols, markets, and risk vectors
- Support existing clients through day-to-day requests and reporting
- Contribute to the development of internal risk tooling and frameworks
- Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for data analysis
- Apply statistical methods to evaluate protocol health, performance, and risk
- Produce high-quality deliverables (reports, memos, dashboards) that inform client and internal decision-making
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in crypto, specifically DeFi
- Strong proficiency in SQL and comfort with Python for data analysis
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and applied quantitative methods
- Ability to synthesize technical and qualitative findings into clear insights
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to risk management in DeFi or financial markets
- Familiarity with dbt or Hex (data notebooks/analytics tooling)
- Generalist skill set with the ability to context-switch across the stack
- Background working in a fast-paced setting
