Web3 Graduate Business Analyst

R3's Professional Services team comprises innovative problem-solvers and strategic, fast-moving team members collaborating with customers to solve challenges.

Professional Services drives successful customer outcomes by defining and delivering end-to-end customer solutions and guiding the customer at each step. We are looking for a driven graduate who is keen to embark upon a career as a business analyst in an exciting and creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning & organisation of key meetings between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring sessions are well prepared and capturing key minutes with outputs to share with required parties.
• Help facilitate discovery workshops to understand the business purpose and high-level business requirements and transfer these into technical and business needs, pulling in relevant stakeholders to help define customer features.
• Support the link between user requirements and technical implementation.
• Create appropriate business collateral, including diagrams, to define business processes through various relevant business specification documents and templates.
• Learn and understand how to convert business requirements into solution designs, demonstrating good judgement, and a pragmatic approach that combines business constraints and engineering realities.
• Ability to convey and simplify concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
• Help preparation of demos for working solutions or POCs to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with designers to create mockups of what the final product will look like.

Education & Experience - Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) related to Business/IT.
• Interest in DLT/Blockchain technologies and benefits, although previous experience is not expected.
• Flexibility to travel to client and partner sites for project work after 12 months (local and/or international).
• Examples of enthusiasm & proactivity in education, personal life or work.
• Critical thinker and highly organised, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Education & Experience - Nice to Haves

• Broad experience working across the Financial Services domain (Payments, Banking, Insurance, Fintech) is desirable but not essential.
